Well the results speak for themselves. Mystic Tarot was about as wrong as it could be. A record season 26 named storms. 3 hit Florida, Rita and Katrina hammered the gulf coast states. The 2005 season had an activity level of 263% above a normal year. Estimates for 2006 are better but not much, 197% higher than normal.

 

The house in the above photo is in the Pensacola Beach area. Ivan destroyed many homes here, this one survived with a metal roof. The doors and windows were gone but the walls stayed up because the roof stayed on.
